Soba Noodles with Miso Roasted Tomatoes for dinner tonight. I love this dish because it’s easy and fast to make. And did I mention that it’s delicious?

Yummy Japanese toast from Sa-Ten , sister coffees hop of Kome. I ordered the Sriarcha Mayo Smoked Salmon Toast and Nathan ordered the terikyai chicken plate with kale salad. The food was very good and different than Kome. I am so happy that it’s near my work but this can also be a bad thing. :(

This is by far my favorite breakfast. I love a good toast with avocado, egg with a runny yolk, meatless crumble and drizzled with white truffle oil.

This blog IS named after Miso Chen so here are a few photos of her from this summer.

Mir and Alisan at Barton Springs! And me doing the peace sign!

I love history and I love food. I love how food tells a story, it’s a moment when people who have completely different believes share a common thread.
We made pipa tofu for the first time. Pipa is a Chinese instrument and legend has it that Xi Shi, a Chinese princess loved tofu and so this dish is named after her.
We mixed together soft tofu, gulf shrimp, water chestnut, carrots, and ginger together and then we fried it and created a sauce to go over it. We served it on a bed of steamed broccoli. My dad was impressed that we cooked this dish.

We hosted a dinner party for my friend that is returning back to London and we cooked a whole red snapper, Pok Pok style. It was delicious and easy!
